Team Leading Level 2 Apprenticeship
What are the aims of this course?
Apprenticeships allow you to start your career, earn a wage and learn new skills leading to nationally recognised qualifications. Apprenticeship programmes are designed with employers and offer structured training that will take you through the skills to do the job well. All of the training takes place on the job and retail apprentice’s work towards a nationally-recognised competence based qualification and also a knowledge-based qualification.

What qualifications do I need to do this course?
Initial assessment is carried out in the workplace to assess the suitability of applicant’s job role, skills and experience in relation to the qualification. Applicants must be employed within a retail role, and have their employer’s support.
How is the course assessed?
The Apprenticeship is assessed through work-based assignment and tutor observation.
What qualification will I be awarded if I successfully complete the course?
At the end of the programme apprentices will have achieved:
- Functional skills in Maths, English and ICT
- Employee Rights and Responsibilities
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
What will I be able to go on to do after I've completed this course?
Upon successful completion learners may wish to continue their development via the completion of any of the following signposted qualifications/training:
- Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service (QCF)
- Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration (QCF)
- Level 3 Diploma in Management (QCF)
